I've always loved the classic paperback book. The proof is in my bulging shelves that are crammed full of books.
But this year I finally accepted that I cannot possibly fit any more books on to my shelves. Seeing as I have no other space to house my growing collection of paperbacks, I had to come up with another storage solution.
People have been asking me why I don't have an eBook reader for a while. They know that I adore books, and wouldn't it just be easier to carry one device around? Turns out they were all right!
So here I am, biting the technological bullet having bought a Kindle Paperwhite!
I must say that I do miss physically turning the pages of a book, but it's sure to make my life easier. No more taking five books on holiday and stressing when I finish them all before we board the plane home. With a simple click I can download another to my Kindle.
I love that I can see how long I have left to finish a chapter, I can look up words that I don't understand, and I can read in bed without having the light on!
If you're a book lover like me, I highly recommend buying an eBook reader (there are loads out there, from the Kobo to Sony eBook reader). I'm a convert from now on!
